Sweet Summer Time

Summer is officially here! It seems like it has taken forever to get here but it's here and I couldn't be happier. Last year at this time I was super prego waiting for my lil girl to get here and now this year I am planning her first birthday party! I can't believe she is going to be one year old! Time does fly. She is getting so big and so smart! She is into everything and I mean everything! She loves to be outside and bawls when I make her come inside! She also loves animals, it doesn't matter what it is, she loves it! Her favorite thing to do is play with the kitties! She will sit and play with them for hours or as long as the cats can stand it! My Dad has 2 new pups and she chases them around his yard saying "kitties, kitties." That is the only animal name she can say so everything is a kitty! It is so dang cute. She loves the horses too, she just yells jiberish to them though, and when they whinny she whinnies back, ahh I just love it!

Christopher and Averee both have June birthdays. So before I plan Ave's b-day party we have to plan one for Chris!! I really can't believe he is going to be 6 and going into the first grade! He has grown so much this past year and has learn so much as well, from tying his shoes, to reading, I just can't believe it!! Our lil man is growing up! He left today to go to his mom's for most of the summer. I'm sad he is gone and miss him already! But he was super excited to go see her so I know he will have a great time. We will get to see him at least every other weekend so we have lots of fun things planned for those weekends. A trip to the Zoo, Yellowstone, and Lagoon. Plus we can't forget camping he loves that! His cousins Dominic and Zack recently moved up here and he loves to play with them. So I'm sure when he is here he will be a busy little man!

This weekend we finally had some decent weather! We have been working in the yard all spring trying to get it ready so we could plant some grass. Well this weekend we got it finished. It was nice weather so even Ave came out to help! She rode the four wheeler with her Dad while he spread out the top soil. She loved that, but then Kade decided that she needed a ride on the dirt bike. There wasn't anyway I was going to let him give her one, but I did let her sit on it with him. She hated it!! She wasn't having anything to do with it! I was so glad.

Later that day we set up the swing set. Chris is glad its here. He loves to go swing and can't wait for Miah to come swing with him. Aves has a little baby swing and she loves it. She giggles the whole time! It sits in the dirt for now while we wait for the grass to grow. Hopefully it grows fast! I am tired of the dirt and dust.


Mother's Day was great! Quinn and the kids gave me the most beautiful flowers and he helped me clean the house. Chris made me the cutest card and a great little coupon book, and too top it off Ave started waving bye bye! I just love them all so much!
That same day we had traveled down to Farmington to pick Chris up from his Mom's. On the way back we stopped in Ogden and picked up my new horse. Her name is June Bug and I just lover her. I am so excited to finally have a horse again and can't wait to go riding! She is great, THANKS BABE!!

Easter Fun!

Every year, on my dad's side of the family, we get together the Saturday before Easter and dye our Easter eggs. All the kids had a great time! Aunt Dana made us smoothies and Gram made us fruit pizza they were delicious. I have to laugh because every year we use the same table cloth and this year I realized that it used to be white, now it is so many different colors you could never guess that it was white!! We really missed Tyrel, Jen and Holden though, they couldn't make it down from Twin that weekend, but they are coming home this weekend so it will be fun to get to see them! We are going to go do something fun, we haven't quite decided yet, but whatever it is should be fun, better than sitting home all day~!~

Last Thursday Quinn, Chris, Kayla, and I went the the Dodge National Finals Rodeo in Pocatello. We went with my brother Connar, my dad and his wife and her 3 kids, Shelbi, Jayden and Hunter! Chris was so excited to go and he had a great time. He got a little tired towards the end, but he loved it. He watched the kids ride the sheep and he was "almost" sure he wanted to ride one! The top pic is of Connar and Chris just as we got sat down. The middle pic is of Hunter and Chris waiting very patiently for the rodeo to start and the bottom is just of what we saw when we first walked in. We all had a great time and I hope that we get to go again. Averee stayed with grandma Ronda and they had a fun night too!!!

I've finally made time to sit down and fix this!! It has taken me quite awhile to do it, but hopefullynow I can keep it updated!! Theses two little cuties are my wonderful kids, Averee riding her mule and Chris with a big cheeser!
